National Machinery Exchange purchased the Sakamura in January 2022. The machine was sold to a buyer overseas in February 2022. During the sale process, NME needed to choose a vendor to export the Sakamura overseas. Our company started to review proposals between competitive rigging and dismantling providers.
Overseals customer purchased in Feb 2022. After reviewing multiple proposals, NME hired a licensed and insured rigging company to start dismantling the machine in April 2022. The dismantling and packing process was estimated to take 6 weeks until the exporting process began. By May 2022, the Sakamura and related components were ready to be shipped.
After supervising and monitoring the professional dismantling of the Sakamura Parts Fotmer, National Machinery Exchange coordinated overseas shipping and logistics process.
NME reviewed various logistics providers and requirements prior to loading including:
Heavy haul inland transport trucking companies
Freight forwarders to schedule and deliver multiple standard and open top containers
Export packing services to professionally pack the cargo for overseas shipment
Coordinate import and export documentation, packing lists, custom clearance documentation
After finalizing the export logistics phase, the loading process included packing and securing 11 overseas shipping containers as well as loading 3 overweight and over-dimensional break bulk cargo.
